LASH Construction

LASH Construction is a family-run general engineering contractor rooted in Santa Barbara and serving communities throughout Santa Barbara and Ventura Counties. Founded in 1978 by Art Lash, the company began with a single tractor, a small family loan, and a simple belief: do the work right, and let your word mean something. More than 45 years later, those values continue to guide everything we do.

From streets and sidewalks to water, wastewater, and complex civil infrastructure, LASH has helped shape the Central Coast through projects people rely on every day. Our work is primarily focused on public infrastructure, partnering with cities, counties, school districts, universities, and special districts to deliver durable, accountable solutions in a region with unique coastal and environmental conditions. Long-standing relationships with agencies such as Caltrans, the County of Santa Barbara, UC Santa Barbara, and local water City of Santa Barbara and Sanitary districts reflect the trust built through consistency, quality workmanship, and local expertise.
